Money-Back Policy
Last updated: August 16, 2026
Summary:
- This policy applies only if a money-back option was presented at or near checkout in the purchase flow you accepted.
- Only meeting the conditions below qualifies under this policy. It does not apply to other situations.
- Canceling stops future charges. It is not automatically a refund.
1. When this policy applies
A money-back option applies only if it was presented at or near checkout in that purchase flow (for example on the price screen or the guarantee screen immediately before payment). If that flow did not present a money-back option for an item, this policy does not create one for that item.
Only meeting these conditions qualifies under this policy. It does not apply to other situations.
Requests outside this policy are considered case by case, at our discretion, or as required by law.
2. One-time report (example: $27)
If a money-back option for the report was presented at checkout:
- Contact support@preparedchapter.com within 7 days of the initial purchase, from the email used on the order.
- Include a brief explanation that the report was not useful.
If the request meets these conditions, we will refund that report charge. We may deny requests involving fraud, material abuse of the policy, or repeated purchases and refunds of substantially the same digital content, except where law requires a refund.
After that window, personalized digital content is generally non-refundable except as required by law.
3. Membership charges
If a membership money-back option was shown at checkout, you may request a refund of the first paid membership charge during the first paid membership period. You should be able to show that you used the membership—for example, that you opened the report or course, or completed at least 3 course sessions.
Forgetting to cancel is not by itself a money-back reason under this policy.
4. Canceling is not a refund
Canceling turns off auto-renew and stops future charges. Access continues through the then-current trial or paid period. Canceling is not automatically a refund. See Billing & Refunds.
5. California and Connecticut residents
If you live in California or Connecticut and you cancel the purchase before midnight of the third business day after the purchase, we will return the payment. Contact support@preparedchapter.com.
6. EEA, UK, and Switzerland consumers
If you are a consumer in the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal.
If you asked us to begin immediate delivery of personalized digital content and gave the consent and acknowledgment required by law, that withdrawal right may end for that item once delivery begins.
For a continuous subscription, if you withdraw after service has begun, we may deduct an amount proportional to the time used before we received your withdrawal notice.
To withdraw, you may use the model form below or a clear statement sent to support@preparedchapter.com.
