Billing FAQ
Last updated: August 16, 2026
Short answers about billing. The checkout screen you accepted governs that transaction. Prices and plan names here are examples only. See Billing & Refunds and the Money-Back Policy for the full rules.
Do we always offer a trial?
No. A membership trial exists only if the checkout price screen explicitly states a trial, including the length, the first membership charge date, and the renewal price. If checkout does not show a trial, there is no trial.
The quiz is free. The personalized report & prep plan is a one-time purchase you keep. It is not a trial of the whole product or of membership.
How will you bill me?
Completing checkout—including Apple Pay, Google Pay, a saved card, one-tap checkout, or a similar method—is your electronic signature. You authorize (1) the amount due today, and (2) automatic renewals at the then-current price shown at checkout until you cancel.
If checkout shows an introductory or discounted price, renewals are charged at the full renewal price shown at checkout, not the introductory price.
An example currently advertised is $27 USD for the report and $37.99 per month for membership. Checkout governs.
How do I cancel?
Go to Account → Payment & billing and select Manage billing (Stripe Customer Portal) to turn off auto-renew. Or email support@preparedchapter.com from the purchase or account email with the subject “Cancel membership.”
We send a confirmation. If you do not receive one, contact support before the next charge.
Canceling disables auto-renew. Access continues through the then-current trial or paid period. Canceling membership does not refund the one-time report.
Does deleting my account or closing the browser cancel my subscription?
No. Deleting your account, closing the browser, ignoring email, or unused access does not cancel a subscription.
What do I keep if I cancel?
You keep the one-time personalized report and prep plan. Canceling membership does not refund that report. Membership access continues through the then-current trial or paid period, then ends.
How do refunds / money-back work?
Once a paid period has started and access was available, charges are generally non-refundable, except as required by law or as stated in the Money-Back Policy. That policy applies only if a money-back option was presented on that checkout.
What if I have more than one plan?
Extra plans and upsells are separate. Canceling one does not cancel the others.
